The 39 Clues

The  39 Clues is an AWESOME website, where you find out if you’re a Cahill or not. If you are, than you’re in the Ekaterina, Tomas, Janus, or Lucian branch. Each has their own special skill. The Ekaterina branch (or Ekats) are smarter than the rest. The Tomas are more physically fit and brave. The Janus are cooler and more artistic. The Lucians are sneakier and love poison and weapons. I swear, you never see a Lucian that doesn’t carry a poison ring, poison dart gun, or any other weapon. They also are good decoders and spies. The objective is to find the 39 clues before anyone else. Right now, only 5 clues are available to collect. I have 4. What now! Anyway, you have to have a Cahill Name (username) and password. You need your parent/guardian’s permission, because you need to type in their e-mail address so they can send your parent/guardian an e-mail. Your parent/guardian then clicks on a link to activate the account. Once the account is active, you can go on whenever you want. It is free. No one can communicate to you. It’s as secure as it can be. Another thing, The 39 Clues is more than a website. It’s also an AWESOME book series. There are two books already out: Book One: The Maze of Bones by Rick Riordon and Book Two: One False Note by Gordon Korman. The third is on its way: Book Three: The Sword Thief by Peter Lerangis. It’s coming out on March 3rd. That’s not all. The 39 Clues is also a card game! Collect the cards and enter the codes on the bottom on your online account by going to My Cards and clicking on ADD CARDS. Each card has a unique code: each code can only be used once, so use it on YOUR account, not your friends. It’ll tell you more when you make your profile. I’ll see you guys later.

WARNING - Beware the Madrigals!

P.S. I’m an Ekat.

How to Survive School

In school, I like to think there are three types of people: the hunters, the hunted, and the spectators. The hunters, or bullies, pick on people they think won’t fight back (a.k.a. the hunted). The spectators watch what is going on and either try to stop it, or try to avoid being hunted or the hunters. There are several ways to survive the school day (if you are the hunted. Hunters, don’t read this). The first way is to avoid the hunters. This only works if they pick on you in the halls. If they pick on you in class, the second way might work. The second way is to ignore them. Hunters enjoy knowing they are annoying you. If they believe you don’t care what they do, they’ll leave you alone. The third way may get hunters to call you a snitch, but it’s worth it. Tell the teacher. It may seem to make you a tattletale, but you shouldn’t let hunters get to you. Those are ways to survive school. That is all I can tell you right now. Until I get a brain spark, I won’t know what to post, so it may be a while. I’ll see you later.

P.S. Don’t call anyone hunters, hunted, or spectators. It’ll get them mad.

Club Penguin Newsletter #3

Club Penguin is in even more danger than ever before. The astonishing truth: Herbert the polar bear has targeted our puffles! That is right, Herbert needs to be stopped. Luckily, the PSA has found where Herbert is hiding. This is a shocker: he is across the frozen lake at the fishing hole behind The Lodge! The PSA found this out using scanners to trace the spy phone Herbert stole. They figured this out in time to set up a spy camera, with which they were able to find out Herbert’s plan. Unfortunately, the spy camera was found and disabled by Klutzy the crab. These are the most recent events regarding safety. Now for recreation news, there is a new game where you make your own music. It is located in the Disco Room, or Dance Floor. Also if you are in search for a lot of coins, go to the Iceberg. There is a game there called Aquamole, and it gives you 25 coins for pearls in clam waters, 50 for cream soda in soda seas and the rare treasure in clam waters, 300 for the main treasure (grand pearl) in clam waters, and 450 for the main treasure(amethyst) in soda seas. It’s what I do when I’m running low on coins (like right now). Those are the main things happening in Club Penguin. Join us later for more on Club Penguin than ever before!

Studying Skills

All students in school need to study in order to pass their classes. So some ways to study are to ask your parent/guardian to ask you review questions(my way to study). Another way to study would be to review all of your notes(be sure to take notes during class). One last way to study would be to ask questions to your friends. Be sure to study. Just so you know, I got a 100% on my science MIDTERM. Those are ways to study.

Sleeping Habits

I know this may not seem important, but it is. The first thing you need to know is what days you need to go to early morning, like band or orchestra. The night before you have early morning, get to sleep early so you can get up on time. The best time to go to sleep on school nights is probably 10:30-11:00 because that gives you 7 to 7 and a half hours of sleep. Earlier would also work. Those are some sleeping habits to help out with getting to school on time.

Book Reviews 2

I have some more books I think I should share with you. The books are:

Ÿ       The Warrior Heir, Wizard Heir, and Dragon Heir(3 book)

Ÿ       Edgar + Ellen  “The Tourist Trap”(1 book)

Ÿ       Half Moon Investigations(1 book)

I like the Heir books because they are unpredictable, hilarious, and, most of all, action-packed. I like Edgar + Ellen because it’s thrilling and hilarious. I like Half Moon Investigations because it is unpredictable, hilarious, and it is difficult to stop reading. Those are more books you now know. See you.

How To Deal With Bullies

Bullies are people who like to torment others to make themselves feel better about themselves. The best way to deal with bullies is one of the hardest and, later on, easiest; ignore them. If they start walking/running towards you, just walk away. They may call you a coward or a wimp, but don’t pay attention to them. If they call you out to fight, don’t go. If it starts to get out of hand where you can’t ignore them, tell an adult who will be able to stop them from picking on you. For example, I was being picked on at school, so when it got out of hand, I told my mom, who called the school, who was able to stop them. That is how I dealt with bullies, and how you should to.

TAKING CARE OF PLANTS

In order to take care of plants, you have to do quite a few things. First, you have to find a good area of land with good soil. Another alternative to #1 is to build a sturdy planter and fill it with good soil. Second, you have to choose if you want to start with a plant and take care of it or you want to start with seeds and grow a plant. Whether you choose seeds or a plant, the next step is to find a spot in the area of land/planter to plant the seeds/plant. After that, it all depends on what you chose and what type of plant/seeds you picked. If it’s a normal plant, you have it pretty easy. All you have to do is give it a certain amount of water each day. If-like my family-you want to grow vegetables, and you want the vegetables to be big, use Miracle Grow (read box before use) (preferably get the Miracle Grow Sprayer) once every ten days (still water the vegetables). Those are some tips on how to take care of and grow plants.

BOOK REVIEWS

Hi everyone. Thanks for reading my blog so far. I’m not going to lie. My dad gave me this idea. I’m going to review some book series’ for you to read. The series are

· Harry Potter

· Percy Jackson and the Olympians

· Maximum Ride

I like the Harry Potter (7 book) series because it’s action-packed and full of adventure. I like the Percy Jackson and the Olympians (4 book so far) series for the same reasons as Harry Potter. I liked Maximum Ride (4 book) because it’s funny, action-packed, adventurous, and thrilling. Thanks for reading and I hope you like the books.

Sorry!

Sorry for not setting up anything new for a while. I’ve found new books to read and I forgot about the blog. Once again, sorry. Anyway, I’m back in the business, but this is all I can say until I think of something else. So until then (about an hour or so) this is it. Thanks for reading.
